October Order

Please remember your orders are due to the coordinator by Tuesday, October 2 evening. We might be adding one or two new members this month!

BTW, I think it's still on special - last month I got 25# of granola! Yikes! But it's sooooo good! Its the OG blueberry and flax. Yum.

Anyway, we will eventually eat it all, but if anyone is interested in getting a bag of it or so (I think I have 8 or 9 gallon bags full!) please email me! You can pay me what I paid per pound (don't have that info handy - email me.)

AND - we have great, free range, non-medicated feed eggs for sale for $1.50/dozen and wonderful meaty, juicy free range chickens for sale, $2/pound. I can vouch for the fact that these birds led pretty wonderful chicken lives - on pasture, with their buddies, in a hoop house, morning council under the apple tree, lots of table scraps and over ripe tomatoes and zucchini, etc. etc. etc. It's a different universe from some birds that you might by in the store!

Finally, PLEASE LISTEN to Michael Pollan's (author of Omnivore's Dilemma) speech broadcast on Minnesota Public Radio and available to listen to here: http://www.publicradio.org/tools/media/player/news/features/2007/06/07_cgilbert_pollen
